Get a 12 page website
GreeninBrum can create a separate website for your business, organisation or group, starting at £100 for a 12 page “green” site, where the aim of the site is to reduce environmental impact. (Normal price: £200; schools, churches or voluntary sector: £150). This is a one-off fee. We set up the site for you, and you can update and edit it whenever you like. You choose the logo, the colour scheme, and the typeface, and use your own pictures. If you want us to update or expand the site later, you can pay us another one-off fee.
Get a maintained website
We can create a larger website and maintain it for you, adding new pages or pictures weekly if necessary. You can update it directly, or e-mail your content to us. You can ask us to tweak the design or re-organise your content on a monthly basis. You can add PDF or Word files. Prices start at £100 per month for a “green” site up to 100 pages. (Normal price: £200; schools, churches or voluntary sector: £150).
Internal websites and web pages
Not all websites are public. For the same price, we can create an “intranet” or “extranet” where your members or customers have to log in to see it, or create some pages like this on your normal site. This can be invaluable for distributing a rota (yes, we do tables!), sharing committee minutes or documents, or working with colleagues on a text.
Websites demystified
We aim to make the technical side of producing your website easy for you, so that you can concentrate on the content. Typically, we will sit down with you for an hour to talk through what you need and get it down on paper (or on the screen if you prefer), and then when the site is created, another hour looking at the site with you and fine-tuning it.

Domain names
The cost of having your own .uk domain name (e.g. www.yourchoice.co.uk) is £20 per year extra. Otherwise your address would be www.yourchoice.brumnet.co.uk, or for sites which meet our criteria www.yourchoice.greeninbrum.co.uk. International website names (e.g. .com, .org) cost £30 per year.
Design
You can use your own logo and choose the background colours and the font, and add pictures on every page. The basic layout of the site will be similar to ours. If you require a more elaborate design, please get in touch.
